This chart proves very well that the Switch isn’t going anywhere soon. Even if we get a Switch 2 in 2024. It sold too well, that developers will keep releasing ports for it, especially smaller indie games.
For example 3DS came out in 2011, but DS got games for all of 2014. Switch came out in 2017 but WiiU still got some games in 2023, despite being an unpopular console.
