Wargroove’s campaign was pretty fun but I never got too into the editor. But if we can now make campaigns with cutscenes that sounds really interesting!
I enjoyed wargroove a lot, but it definitely wasn’t a perfect game. It’ll be interesting to see the reaction to the sequel since the quality and variety of strategy games on the switch has gone up a LOT since the first one came out.
I’ll probably be picking this up but I have doubts it’ll be as popular as the first one

Wargroove 1 was fun, though the character portraits put me off. Looks like they haven’t updated them in this one 🙁

Better than Advance Wars

Wargroove was a massively inferior Advance Wars wannabe. I’d be happy if this game was 10x better but I don’t have a lot of faith given a lot of the super rookie mistakes they had in the first game

I’m very interested in the rouge-like campaign.

And this is my reminder that I bought the first one and have not played it ….

Are the maps smaller and gameplay more concise in this one? That’s what I didn’t like about the first one

I’m excited. I’ve been replaying the original each night before I go to bed.

The first game didn’t click with me at all. Went in thinking it would scratch my advance war itch back then but it didn’t do it for me.

I’m hyped. The first was great.
Just so you understand the company you’re funding if you buy this: you should read this [story from Polygon](https://www.polygon.com/2019/9/2/20839830/starbound-developers-chucklefish-game-industry-exploitation) from a few years ago about their treatment of their developers, and a [video from Inside Gaming](https://youtu.be/iMR7chqS4_8) with further info and interviews. Was common knowledge for a while but maybe has been forgotten since.
