Man it looked rough. The concept looks awesome, and I would love to do four player coop with my family, but I really hope they get running much smoother by release.

The gameplay looks to be faithful and this isn’t Wayforward’s first Contra rodeo. Excluding myself as I personally am accustomed to 8 channels of sound, 16 of a 256 color palette on the screen simultaneously. Which for me this translates to a potential masterpiece. Fingers crossed.

Graphics look pretty terrible but Wayforward and M2 are the only two companies I trust with the franchise. Cautiously optimistic!

Finally a Contra game that is a worthy sequel then that last trash rogue corps….will definitely look forward to this one

This definitely looks smoother than what I saw in the Direct, but not a fan of the art style here. Wish they would have kept the pixel look.

Damn the direct really ruined showing this game, not sure why the one that was shown was [at 30fps made it look pretty rough](https://youtu.be/rfYfuAOKTxA?t=1223)…. this trailer here on this reddit post at 60fps make its look actually great – definitely buying it.
