Playing it now. Some framerate stutters here and there. Loading time from overworld to combat is a bit long to my liking. Other than that it feels pretty good. I haven’t played the PC version so I can’t compare.

Played it for a bit today. The framerate stutters a bit and there are ~20-second loading times when starting battle and ~10-second loading when entering locations/buildings. The game also crashed about an hour in and I lost some progress.
The graphics look pretty good, but I haven’t played the PC version for comparison.
I played it docked on the TV and didn’t have issues reading the text, but the text/UI may be too small for handheld.
Seems like a really fun turn-based RPG though. Hopefully they patch up the framerate and crashing issues.

Played it a ton on the Steam Deck. Awesome game. Really fun mechanics and gameplay loop. I’d be a bit concerned for the performance on the Switch as the SD did have framerate issues and long loading times (further in the game with a big party). Granted, I think the game wasn’t fully optimized when I played it (there has been a bunch of patches since I last checked it out) so it might be better.

I got northgard on PC and Switch – same developer.
I love the game on PC, but the lack of support on switch is extremely disappointing.
I was tempted to get wartales on pc, but since I’m spending less time at home, I decided against it. If Hiro games commits the same level of support as on pc, I’ll happily pick it up.
