I ended up ordering this. There are a ton of positive reviews, and even though it’s late in the switch life span – there’s still plenty of games coming out and my backlog to play on it. Excited to get it as I primarily play handheld.
Previously I’ve been using the Satisfye grips and love them

Hoping mine shows up this week. I bought the SNES version. I talked one of my employees into buying one, he got the DK green. Very excited for it.

Seems like they have a crack marketing team over there. Cause this has tons of hype and I don’t understand why…

Yeah, I’m keeping an eye on this one, for the Hall effect Joy-Con alone. It’s actually cheaper than official Joy-Con which is mental.

I bought split pad pro whenever Daemon X Machina came out and haven’t gone back since. Are these better than those?

I’d get one but I don’t really mind the joycons. Never had any critical issues with it(besides disconnecting randomly).
But I do wonder. I use a third party dock so I wonder if video out would work while it’s in the Nitro Deck

Their app looks like shit, they have some NFT looking bullshit

To be honest I hate commercials , I really enjoyed that one. If I’m going to purchase is a different question.
It’s hard to justify for something which you can replace with a grip. As one user mentioned, Hall effect is cool but Nintendo fixes joy-cons for free now.

Very concerning wording on their website where it states you need to authenticate the device with their app. Weird.

I have read that using a wired controller with the DOCK can add significant input delay (something about the speed of the ports). But in this case, the USB-C connection is interfacing directly with the Switch, right? It will operate in handheld mode this way?

If this was out years ago then it would have been a bigger deal for me. At this point where the next gen is coming sooner than later, I’ll pass on this since I’ve too many accessories for the current Switch.

My switch’s rails started to fail to detect joycons on the left, so I’m hoping this makes handheld mode bearable. I had already swapped my joycon sticks for hall effect ones and loved them, so high hopes.

Wish they would’ve spent more than 10 minutes deciding on Canadian fulfilment options. Shipping at $46 makes this product dead in the water- unfortunate considering there are alternative couriers at half of the cost.

I am a fan of handheld gaming. So buying this was an instant buy. Just waiting on that shipping email for the see thru purple one.

Fucking stupid how the transparent versions of these were sold in limited quantities. Probably the only colors that would interest me into buying these expensive things.

If I didn’t have more switch accessories than I need, I’d definitely buy this one. Hopefully switch 2 has similar dimensions (unlikely) so we can use accessories like these

In for GameCube purple
Lunar_Lunacy_Stuff
I ordered these from LRG cause I’m primarily a handheld player. Still no release date for that version though.

They gloss over the most important issue that I have with it. Weight!
It adds considerable weight to it, sure you don’t have stick drift, but you are going to get tired of holding it up.

I’m really interested in one because I primarily play in handheld. My only reservation is that in multiple review they mention the right joystick is in a bit of an awkward spot. They mention it doesn’t bother them because they don’t play games that use it..but I do. I want to hear from a normal person how it is before I pick one up.
Ninten-Doh
How do you charge it whilst playing if it goes into the USB c port?
