Beyond the Hype. I created this series as there is a lot of click bait and false impressions of pokemon and I want to give you a real in depth analysis of whether a pokemon is worth spending dust and candies on.
Pokemon GO has just announced the Adventures Abound season featuring the pokemon found in the Paldea Region. This season of GO Battle League features a significant move updates includes nerfs, buffs, and new moves. In total it came with over 150 move updates.
With all these move updates, this video will focus on pokemon that received a significant buff for this upcoming season of GO Battle League either through moves specifically being buffed or access to new moves.
This week it is psychic cup and Master League. Psychic Cup is a 1500cp (Great League) that only allows psychic pokemon. Master League is an open league that allows XL pokemon and legendary pokemon.
In this video I go my first psychic cup team, a very dominant 9-1 with Galarian Rapidash, Galarian Slowking, and Victini.

Galarian King doesnt have many weaknesses, I would like to see some psychic pokemon buffed to see a more varied meta here
Galar King lead, Victini closer, Malamar safeswap is doing wonders for me so far. ACAA team on PvPoke too
An overheat will one shot a malamar, or close to it. It's better than psychic imo. I ran a similar team and it did well for the most part

Rhyperior – Breaking Swipe, Surf
Dragonite – Dragon Claw, Superpower
Gyarados – Dragon Breath, Crunch, Hydro Pump.
Fun team. Made Ace.

i run this team but with an oranguru (confusion + foul play, didnt have another decent psychic type built. also has a normal typing) instead of rapidash
also, i was surprised to learn that there are a few pokemon in this meta that actually get the CMP over victini, i cant remember what they all were but rapidash was definitely one. i think malamar mightve been the other

I ran Galarian Slowbro lead with Bruxish and Victini. Not that it's a surprise.
I might switch bruxish to rapidash, its bite definitely does chunk but it was always the first to go down. So many times my wins were from Galarian Slowbro, not even good ivs just chunking with poison jab and surf and then save a shield for victini to clean up.
4:25 ggs! I thought I had a chance until I saw the Slowking in the back. That's what I deserve for running charm 😂

It’s a f’ing joke. What psychic Mon that have access to ghost and dark get slaughtered by the opposition. Bruxish just hammers with bite.

My daughter just came down with a cold sounds just like yours. I started out great. But then I lost like 9 games in a row the new team I have seems solid bronzog lead, with shadow gar and claydol
Alolan raichu, Hypno and shadow gardevoir have been surprisingly good for me so far since I barely have any galar mons. Still early days but I'm just happy I can actually get some nice wins! Raichu and Gard are DPS beasts and Hypno is a nice tank.
The fact S Gardevoir isn’t banned is lowkey silly I have been getting 2/3 of the opponents Pokémon before it goes down 😂
I always start out good then things get a bit tricky.. First 3 set were positive then the next 2 was a bit disastrous..
First set this morning was a 4-1 so I'll see how it goes for the rest…
Bruxish, Claydo, Malamar! I had seemed this team of yours am strong! Claydo vs Slowking well very strange we are both hitting hard but mal vs slow lol yeah am Viti vs clay! I like it when my opponent tries a V-create on Claydo! LOL … am game over! A-Slowking is strong as long as one gets the right alignment… record so far 9-1 am 4-1 any other game after so far Slowbro with water gunhave give me problems!
also, I try A-Rapidash (my ultra league one! LO ) didn't like it!

Not having victini or bruxish is making this cup pretty hard lol. Feel better Dan!
I used exactly same pokemons but in different order and charge moves. Victini lead charge up to two V-create then use it, most of the time win take both shields, then switch to Slowking, shadow ball and sludge wave will almost one shot most of the Pokémons, then still have Rapidash, most of time half health of Victini and one or two sheild(s) left. I found once the opponents had both shields down then it is 100% win.
This was the first team I ran into after watching this video! Hopefully they subscribe to you!
Would love to hear your opinion on PVP IVs. When would you consider preparing a Pokemon for PVP? What PVP rank for example? How much do PVP IVs actually matter?

I play Galarian Rapidash, Bruxish and Slowking. I dont have Victini and Bruxish have great play against it. I tried water slowbro, but it didnt convice me and I need water against Victini
Bruxish is not a good lead, they use it only because people lead Victini. Bruxish from the back have much better impact.
