Honestly this is probably one of the rarest shinies in the game, we have no idea if we’re ever going to get more of the one Valor costumed Ponyta and the fact that they got a shiny 100% is unbelivably rare. The only thing that I can think of that even compares is maybe like the glitched shiny Detective Pikachus, but that will probably be more common with its return soon if it isn’t shiny locked this time.

Statistically there is a 0.000065% chance to get this on a single roll. Niantic claims there are 71 million active pokemon go players which means if you apply and assume true odds and every single person claimed this research (highly unlikely) there are only 47 in existence.

I don’t believe it’s been confirmed for sure, but I know the reason why people think it’s going to happen is because every piece of Pokemon media that releases gets some sort of representation in game when it does, and the Detective Pikachu game comes out next month. So suffice to say it’s a pretry safe bet, its just like I said a matter of wheather or not they’ll shiny lock it again or not.

It’s top 10-15 rarest shinies, with the only ones rarer being glitches (detective pikachu which is prob coming back and accidental shadows) and a particular few baby pichus. On top of how rare it is in general, it was impossible to shundo hunt cuz it was from research and 1 shot per account. 100/10, insanely rare
