Everyone needs more Kirby.

Once again, it’s so easy being a Kirby Fan! 🙂
The addition of Local Co-op is an amazing addition too! Hopefully if they ever bring over the original Four Swords too, they could add that as well!

My favorite Kirby game! I must have finished the game at 100% at least 5-6 times when I was a kid.

SO. MUCH. KIRBY.
Anon_throwawayacc20
Fucking finally.

How do these developers just break off the link cable now and not during the WiiU days??
makman44
I hate complaining because this is a really great game but it’s so depressing waiting for Golden Sun to release.

Do they mean local as in local wireless or local as in split screen?

Disappointed it’s not Golden Sun, but glad we’re getting GBA games again. Feels like it’s been a pretty slow trickle on the GBA side so far

One of the best Kirby games ever, I really wish they did another one like it. 4 player metroidvania is such a genius concept.

A really good game. What makes it stand out is that unlike other Kirby games, the worlds all branch out from a central hub.
With multiplayer, up to four kirbys can fully explore the world independent of each other. They don’t have to stick together on the same screen or in the same level. Likewise, they can use Cell Phones to teleport to each other when they do want to team up.

I wish some the NSO GB and GBA games could’ve had a sort of “split-screen” option, running multiple instances of the game from one console just to play multiplayer. There are many GBA games that I’ve always wanted to try the multiplayer modes in, this among them. But back then, nobody among my friends had a working link cable, and now today, none of my friends have a Switch of their own.

Excellent, another game for me to play with no one.

Shit. This might be the one that gets me to pay for the Online expansion…
Amazing Mirror is low key a top 2 Kirby game.

That’s cool and all, but please give Zero Mission.

One of the best Kirby games!

Probably the last gba game we’ll get this year with how slow they are
TheDistantGoat
Awesome for Kirby fans.
Setting the stage for Four Swords to come for us Zelda fans!

Finally I’ll be able to play it in multiplayer, always wanted to try that mode.
isaelsky21
Ok, so hopefully just F-Zero left and lastly, what I’ve been waiting for: Golden Sun 😀

An amazing Kirby game, it plays faster than the most recent games, i have finished it many many times, I love the movement.
But it’s on NSO so I’ll just emulate it if I want to play it again.

This game holds a special place in my mind. It introduced me to concept of a multiplayer Metroidvania/2D open world game where players are free to explore the world independently or team up when necessary, which is quite unique. Does anyone know of other games that use this exact idea?
