I caught Entei and Raikou easily enough. But Suicune smacked away a lot of my throws and would break out immediately. I caught it on the 1st excellent throw! I was down to my last 6 balls, so I was starting to sweat and swear š

It really seems like some pokemon are designed to make you waste balls. If they break out immediately after the first 3 throws I usually just move on when its a wild pokemon.
I also really wish when a pokemon is difficult to catch it would be guaranteed high IVs, but nope.

My partner recently failed to catch a Genesect from a raid, and yeah, that was painful for them! (Makes it worse because I did get it, so I’ve just not spoken about it since lol).
I’m just praying for another Genesect raid nearby soon so we can try again for them!

I feel so sorry for you man, it happened to me when the ultra beasts came around a few weeks ago, 2 celesteela and 1 katana ran from me, it sucks but it happens, imo they should make raid pokemon guaranteed catch because you have to actually work for them and when they run it’s allt hat work for nothing in the end

Iāve caught 2 Entei and 1 Suicune so far, all under 5 throws. Only one catch was an excellent, the other 2 werenāt even nice. Lucky on that aspect, but IVās were garbage on all 3.
