The game that keeps on giving. So cheap and so engrossing.
If everyone put 10% of the effort and was greedyless like concernedape the world would be a better place

I started playing this game and casually dropped 15 hours into it out of nowhere. Scared myself by how addicted I got and moved onto some other games. I need to go back, cause it’s incredible. But it’s such a deceptive time sync.
Fine fine…..I’ll do an 8th playthrough.

I started a play through as an all blue Joja cloned employee named JOJA_ID 521097who just might be the one who breaks the cycle. Remembering his grandpa (cloud memory obviously) originally intended as a Joja run but it’s not going well.
When a passion project gets out of hand we all win.

can we please just get an update so we can do things like get pierre to stop being an upcharging d-bag and clint to stop being a total creep? i’d even be up to setting him up with emily if he’d just act human
This is on the same list as No Man’s Sky for me. That list called “when the kids are a bit older and I have the spare time I had pre-kids, I am returning to these games and see you all in a year or so”.
Long list title, granted.
I still just can’t get into Stardew 🙁 the days just go so quick, wish there was an option for slower time progression.

I’ve bought this on PC, Xbox, iOS and now my Switch with no regrets. Love this game and will continually support it as ConcernedApe has.
I always want to get into this game… but I never know what to do. I have 2 copies of the game just have no idea what I’m doing
I just hope this update comes with some fixes to multiplayer. I have a weird issue where my game will occasionally freeze for a second or two, it’s enough to cost me 10 minutes in-game and if I’m in the middle of a fight, I take damage.
I just recently got into this game and i thought it had died for Haunted Chocolatier to be developed.
But now im just concerned and thankful about Ape ;~;

I stopped playing this game a while back since I thought that I have finished the story and also was pretty satisfied with my farm and progress…guess I’ll start playing again
It’s incredible that he continues to update this game for free. He could easily have charged money for 1.5 or do the same for 1.6 but he just obviously loves this game.
That being said, he’s been working on this 1.6 update for a while and he clearly hasn’t been working on Haunted Chocolatier during, and I am anxious for Haunted Chocolatier to come out!

Imagine- This guy doesn’t need the money and puts out tons of free content because he actually loves it. Meanwhile, I’ve got a $70 copy of Diablo 4 from a giant AAA company and it’s boring, feels unfinished, and uses money-grubbing microtransaction tactics all the live long day.

Man i would kill for It to have some kind of save transfer. I have over 60 hours on PC but hated to play there, but i would gladly buy It on switch If i could transfer my save data to it

How much can you turn Stardew Valley into a serverbased multiplayer game? I love Factorio and would like to play SV. I know they are nothing alike. 🙂
But for Factorio I can create a docker server and access my world and inventory through multiple different systems (Windows, Linux, Switch) without the need to juggle savegames. Is that doable for Stardew Valley?
I personally had my share of Stardew and am more excited about Haunted Chocolatier, but Hell will freeze over before I complain about anything CA does. The game was already incredible in 1.0, and he’s added so much for free, it almost feels like ripping him off.
All this while keeping a perfect relationship with the players, I don’t know if he still does it but he used to fix individual saves personally on Twitter well after the sales already exploded.
Dude’s a hero, can’t wait to see what he has in store. Even if he never made another game, he’d still be the best.

Bought Stardew a couple months after its full release, 500 hours on this game and absolutely no regrets. Once this update comes out, and all the major mods like Expanded and Ridgeside release their updates alongside? I’m ready to throw another 200 in there
