I’m actually shocked it averages 45fps, drastic graphics cut aside, it might legitimately run better than base ps4/xbone which is hilarious.

The art style of the game definitely alleviates the drastic drop in graphics.

Its funny to see it being an actually comprehensive and solid port when the sub just 2 days ago was adamant it was going to be a disaster. I get there was no footage at the time but at least wait for it come to out before you make wild assumptions

Glad it actually looks like a good purchase for the switch. You never know with these ports how they will turn out.

No cross platform co op is a big sad face from me. But runs well so far.

If borderlands 3 could run fine on switch, why can’t resident evil 7 and 2 or even kingdom hearts run on switch

Looks terrible, but the best they could do I guess

Did not know it was only 2 player online! A bit of a bummer, but not surprising.

The download sizes surprised me the most. Just yesterday, I was reading a post where 62 GB of space was claimed as needed. According to SwitchUp, it’s around 9 GB for the base game.
Everything else, including language packs (yes!–so much space often wasted on languages I don’t speak) is optional. He said it was around 18 GB after downloading everything he cared about. That’s fine, only a bit bigger than Zelda TotK.
Considering it’s the Switch, this so far looks like a great port. 45 fps average, though not ideal for 60Hz displays, is quite surprising. I’ll still wait for more reviews, especially (hopefully) Digital Foundry’s. I’m pleasantly surprised, so far.

Honestly stunned. The only console I own is a switch, so I can take the graphics cuts. I honestly wasn’t expecting it to ACTUALLY be a viable port. It’s insane what a dev can do when they actually put some effort into the port…. (LOOKING AT YOU MK1)

Has anyone tried couch co-op yet, and can tell me how it handles with 2 players?

I’m assuming its not cross-platform compatible for co-op?
