Finally got my 10th best buddy and now I’m stuck on the catch 10 Kecleon step. What’s frustrating is I hit over 100 stops in West Palm Beach yesterday and there wasn’t a single Kecleon. Even more frustrating is the most recent event with Kecleon ended a couple days before I made it to this step. I’ll get the Pokestop step done in 18 days since I live over a gym, but Kecleon might very well be as elusive as Ditto is currently.

Even with the boosted Kecleon my total went from 1 to 4. And I was out looking.
Ive messed up the spin a pokestop 20 days in a row twice now on day 13… also ive only seen one kecleon its a rough page for sure
I mean it has taken you months to get this far and the first two stages weren’t bad so I don’t know what you are expecting
I completed 2/6 like a few months ago already and I’ve been all over boca and Fort Lauderdale and the only time I’ve seen a kecleon was in key west
I hated “catch 10 Kecleon”. The moment I caught the tenth, I named it “10th MF”!!!

That step took me from early April to mid August.
Yup. Just finished. Took a few months
Step 1 and step 4 took me the longest since I was just coming back for shiny jirachi. Getting the gold hoenn medal took me way longer than I care to admit. 385 excellent throws was rough too. Finally on the last step which seems to be the easiest aside from getting to level 40 which I’m still about 7 million exp shy.
I seemed to find the most kecleons early in the day. Im not sure if that is an actual thing or not. Good luck!

It just keeps getting worse, I’m on 5/6 and I still need 61 more Pokémon caught for the catch 1000 Pokémon

The boosted spawns during the Hisuian Growlithe were an absolute lie. I went out daily and spun around 80-100 stops.
Found a grand total of 0.
A day after the event ended one spawned right by my uni. Now I’m just one away from being done with this part of the research.
I don’t mind having a research that takes awhile cuz then I always have something to work on. But then sometimes they take it way too stupidly far.. like the odds of seeing and catching a Galarian bird, seems like they upped the cell spawn rate for Zygarde but it’s still kinda fucked, and then Gimmighoul coin collection!!.. omg.. the sequence of things you have to do to send a postcard to yourself is such an unnecessary pain in the ass just to get maybe 4 coins a day 😮💨

I’ve found at least 10 since June, but I’m still working on 10 best buddies, so each encounter was a punch in the gut. Once I unlock the task, I’m sure I’ll never see another one, lol.
