Don’t evolve it. It’s much cuter as a Pikachu.
If you have the stardust to spare, power it up. It’s useless in battle (regardless if you evolve or not), but it’s a nice flex, lol.

I evolved one and detective raichu is just as cool. I use raichu in great league with charm/thunder punch/brick break with fairly decent results.

i evolved mine and he’s adorable! i like raichu with the hat more than pikachu tbh. but i also have pikachu dressed as mimikyu, which is my favorite mon costume…so it’s just preference because he’s really just a nice collectible to have
Don’t evolve it. It loses its magnifying glass as well. Don’t know why they never thought of giving Raichu a magnifying glass too.
