Beyond the Hype. I created this series as there is a lot of click bait and false impressions of pokemon and I want to give you a real in depth analysis of whether a pokemon is worth spending dust and candies on.
Pokemon GO has just announced the Adventures Abound season featuring the pokemon found in the Paldea Region. This season of GO Battle League features a significant move updates includes nerfs, buffs, and new moves. In total it came with over 150 move updates.
With all these move updates, this video will focus on pokemon that received a significant buff for this upcoming season of GO Battle League either through moves specifically being buffed or access to new moves.
This week it is great league and sunshine cup.
In this video I go whether defense deoxys is a stronger pokemon to use in the great league than medicham.
Defense Deoxys Great League Team
Sableye Great League Team

have you done a analys of which is good in which situation its better to use Water Gun or Mud Shot Quagsire?
I definitely like running DD more even though I know medi is technically better, it just feels like a lot more counters exist for medi everywhere whereas I can throw move and dip with DD so that as you said, the bad matchups don't get the chance to play out as they would on paper
Also ran this team myself for a while and it worked really well for me, having 3 medi answers that are also generally strong against the meta works really well, just pretty weak against dark type leads
That DD v lickitung lead matchup is really interesting, as far as I'm aware and at least with my DD ivs, you win the 0s easily when you manage to sneak a counter through
Another thing you could look at is hydro vs ice beam azu. I ran hydro myself since I see ice beam as the safe swap move, and it comes in really strong as a general nuke and against basti, but you really feel not having it in the gligar matchup
What a great educational video, thank you! As someone who's running DD/Umbreon/SNido I was just wondering: DD loses the 0s and 1s to Licki according to PvPoke, how come you always play it out and "win switch or grab a shield"? And how exactly do you play Pelipper leads? (you looked something up while the battle was active and didn't mention your way to play it).
When you grind do you keep pvpoke or any printouts or websites in front of you or just play solely off of memory
Have you built Swalot yet? It takes down a surprising amount of leads in this meta
Can you do a video comparing fast attacks that are the same type but have flipped damage and energy. Things like charm vs fairy wind, spark vs volt switch, for example
Ive been loving using jelicent, just walling medi. The only real problem is licki, grass and lantern are easy enough to plan for.
Medi is probably overall better but using it feels like cheating and is not fun or challenging so mine stays in the box
Thank you for all the hard work. I learned alot on how to play with DDeoxys…. but now i need a azu😅
Dan use medÃ, carbink, and licki on pvpoke it’s b,a,a,a so it’s pretty good I think
I’ve been running DD, Registeel, and Medicham.. it’s been really fun 😂 working on a Carbink, Sableye, and Azumaril for the great League, and Rayquaza for the master 😪
Hey
Would this team work with Medicham instead of DD?
Great video

Good afternoon Dan
What about DD and medi on the same team?
