I think it's an alright feature it's just those rewards suck ass. The only thing we can hope for is a event or something that boosts the rewards or something. Still a cool feat. That could've been better
correct! it will allow a group of 4 to be able to beat a raid without help – that's it, the rewards are nothing, just a waste of time. But what if all you can ever get is 4 trainers? now in that case, it takes regular trainers and push them 3-4 level up in a raid in a party, for me, well, that's all I needed anyway, so who cares about the rewards.
Rewards are a joke. Niantic is a joke. It likely won't work right all year. It'd be a nice add on feature thing, an extra to do if you are out anyway, not a main feature with all this emphasis
It’s like the Paldean adventure (5/5), explore 80km, complete 150 research tasks, etc. for… 1 lucky egg and a whopping 900xp?! Like WT actual F.

Those rewards are weak
Regarding autocatchers- this makes sense that your catches and spins with devices doesn't count. You are competing human against human not human against robot.
However this makes me less motivated to start a party.
What improvements would be relevant?
1) Improve rewards. Although you are working collectively on goals rewards could be higher so hardcore players can help their casual friends or children.
2) Why party is only for 1 hour? Makes no sense. Default timer should be at least 3 hours. To do some of the tasks can take a while, for example walk 3 km. So each has to walk between 0.75 to 1.5 km. And then you don't have any time left for other challenges.
3) Party shouldn't end exactly 1 hour after it is started but it should end when you finish last challenge you started. It felt very bad that we made already 10 excellent throws and progress was lost.
3) Add timer in party view to check how much time is left. Must have!
4) In shadow raids you can't use party boost. Well, this is interesting. You can use purified gems but not party boost. Kind of funny that they advertise shadow Lugia with party feature. Maybe this is why it was removed from advertising?
Niantic wants to see groups of people walking around parks every day playing POGO. People have jobs and families and can't dedicate time to POGO like this, especially if we can't get schedules to line up. Its a cool concept, and a decent way to encourage people to play together in groups but thanks to COVID people aren't quite as social as they used to be. People have their small core group of friends and if only one person plays POGO in that group they are playing alone. Swing and a miss, but its not the worst thing they could have done

I agree they can up the rewards they're pretty bad I get better stuff from opening a gift.
What even is the point of Party Play? Not everyone has friends living in the same area that play the game, the more features they add, the more one-sided the game is, does it hurt them so much to add a goddamn feature that can help EVERYONE?

Ever since this release, Pokémon go has been laggy AF. My friends list became glitchy and GBL had been horrible laggy. I can’t even finish a game without lagging out
The rewards are such a let down I thought we were gonna get something like get 30 excellent throws for an incubator but we get 200 stardust instead could have been a really good way to grind as a free to play group but alas another niantic feature so close yet so far

I tried to create a group for the first time today while walking a Route and you can't do both, IDK why? but between walking a Route and receiving a Zygarde Cell or participating in a party, I prefer to walk a Route at least the possibility of getting a Cell sounds better, the Party rewards are awful.🥴
Why can't we get TMs at least? I am always sooo freaking broke on TMs always. Tossing berries (not pinap or golden), revives, potions, and evo items. I feel like some freemium stuff would be nice. Silver razz, TMs, and bigger amounts of balls would be a very, very needed change.
All the challenges are group collected. So more people make all the challenges super easy
