Okay. So I finally beat Giovanni using this lineup. HIS lineup was
Persian
Garchomp
Regirock
So Quaquaval was my go to, to knockout his first two shields/finish Persian off. Sylveon knocked out Garchomp and got two hits in on regirock before fainting. Kartana finished off regirock with leaf blade *by the skin of its teeth*, but we did it 🤣

I usually fast switch to someone with Power up punch (Poliwrath—my favorite, Lucario). Have a filler Pokémon and someone to take out the third Pokémon.
So in your instance, start with Kartana, then fast switch to shield smashers. Then continue the battle
