Here’s a doc with all my LG11 teams: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1rlxx_atCs2WhnRSg8AwHnLFOLd4yIlplCgdOEeNiUCM/edit
I’m at that point in my streak where I have to sit down and think about the synergies of my remaining units to get the most clears out of them. So I figured I’d procrastinate and rerecord some duos I did lol.
Here’s how each battle went and the sync grids used:
0:00 – Vs. Latios: Iris / Marlon – https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=005200056500&s0=5&l0=140&r0=3&p0=0&a0=21010101&t0=44444&g0=AAECAwQFEhMUFRgaGx0eISIkJQ&v1=009200061200&s1=3&l1=140&r1=3&p1=0&a1=17020609&t1=4444&g1=AAECAwQFERQVFhkbHiEjJCc&v2=0
Teambuilding for Latios in Gauntlet is interesting as while it’s an easy stage, the fact that it’s easy makes it difficult to decide on which units to throw at it and which to save for one of the more difficult stages. I knew I was gonna use Iris in Latios though, and Marlon has enough defensive buffs and self-sustain to outlast the stage.
I have a feeling that the higher bulk from skill gear was needed here, but if you EX Iris it would have the same (and maybe even stronger) effect.
4:41 – Vs. Registeel: EX Anniversary Raihan / EX Cheren – https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=001400050800&s0=3&l0=140&r0=5&p0=0&a0=21010101&t0=44444&g0=AAECAwQFERIVFxkaHB8iJCUn&v1=025701033000&s1=4&l1=140&r1=5&p1=0&a1=18046402&t1=44444&g1=AAECAwQFFRYYIyQlJikqLDQ&v2=0
As you’d probably expect, most of the duos I did for Registeel used some form of stagger. I wanted to include this flinch duo I did since it has the almighty 3/5 Cheren. I can’t wait for everyone to get him to 3/5 in a few months as he’s truly the unit of all time. I didn’t have room for Mind Boggler on Raihan’s grid so he has Mind Games 2 LS instead.
9:40 – Vs. Tornadus: EX BP Surge / Gordie – https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=025400083900&s0=3&l0=140&r0=5&p0=0&a0=21010101&t0=4444&g0=AAECAwQFCAkKFRgjJScqLC4v&v1=003500002600&s1=3&l1=140&r1=4&p1=0&a1=21010101&t1=44444&g1=AAECAwQFBggLDhMaHB4fIiYsLg&v2=0
I haven’t been using Gordie much but his sync damage is actually pretty funny. I ended up making him my BP Surge partner as his damage was high enough to not need as much sustain. My Gauntlet run had Surge syncing again in Bar 2 for Synchro, but I wanted to see how far I could get without doing so, and it ended up being enough for the whole stage.
13:25 – Vs. Latios: EX Cyrus / Lodge Gloria – https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=024300081100&s0=3&l0=140&r0=4&p0=0&a0=21010101&t0=44444&g0=AAECAwQFBgcICQoMDRESExQdHiEkJyo&v1=019401048400&s1=5&l1=140&r1=5&p1=0&a1=13010602&t1=4444&g1=AAECAwQFCBEUFxofISQvMDEyMzQ1&v2=0
Cyrus makes very short work of Bars 1 and 2 but needs a bit more help in Bar 3. The most common duo partner I saw on the leaderboard was Brycen but I went with Lodge Gloria because it seemed hilarious in my head. The most important thing is that she’s the one who takes Double-Edge, and for that you’ll need some luck with +2 Eva.
17:06 – Vs. Registeel: EX NC Leaf / Blaine – https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=005900007800&s0=5&l0=140&r0=4&p0=0&a0=21010101&t0=44444&g0=AAECAwQFBggKDRATGh0fISMkJSY&v1=001701014600&s1=1&l1=140&r1=5&p1=0&a1=21010101&t1=44444&g1=AAECAwQFBgcICQoMERIVGhscHSMkJSYnKA&v2=0
Leaf can solo this at a higher move level, but at 1/5 she doesn’t have enough sustain or firepower to do so. That’s where Blaine comes in, who provides sun to power up her moves as well as a way for her to preserve her sync for Bar 2. It does need some resetting though – Blaine needs +2 Def from his TM to tank the stage.
21:28 – Vs. Latios: EX Emma / James – https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=024100011000&s0=5&l0=140&r0=3&p0=0&a0=21010101&t0=4444&g0=AAECAwQF&v1=022000016900&s1=2&l1=140&r1=5&p1=0&a1=13010602&t1=444&g1=AAECAwQFBgkMDQ4XGBscHSUnKy4vMA&v2=0
Emma can solo this at a higher move level, and I was tempted to candy her for that, but I figured James is a cheap-enough duo partner for me to save my candy. Pretty straightforward clear.
25:05 – Vs. Tornadus: EX SS Morty / EX SS Red – https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=000001000600&s0=4&l0=140&r0=5&p0=0&a0=13010602&t0=44444&g0=AAECAwQFERQWFxgZGicpLDQ&v1=014802025001&s1=3&l1=140&r1=5&p1=0&a1=17010701&t1=44444&g1=AAECAwQFExQXGhwfIiYoKy0&v2=0
(Sorry for the lack of sound, something went wrong with the recording)
Despite having a brand-new stage, Tornadus is the streak ender here as his stage needs paralysis. That said, there are some team comps that can work without it (or Piercing Blows). You’ll find several in the later parts of Naomi’s streak (https://youtu.be/H9s8-K_VENg?si=-lVF6N1aue7lnJU-), but probably the most common non-para duo you’ll find on the leaderboard is SS Morty and a Fire-type damage-dealer because Morty’s sustain is just that good.
I paired him up with SS Red because I have him at 4/5 back from the free Champion ticket, which now unlocks Standfast 9 and makes Flare Blitz a better move to spam.

Wait I’m totally gonna try that first one. Most of my attempts at copying these difficult runs fail since I lack the resources to invest in the right lucky skills (I’ve managed some solos as duos) but my Iris is 6EX (I think she was my first or second one because I thought she looked cool) so I should be able to muscle through it.
Seeing James perform like this really makes me hurt for a rerun. The anime's team rocket are some of my all time favourite characters, but I wasn't around early enough to get them.
Last Clear isn’t devoid of sound, it’s just really quiet.
Finally there is a video for hooh and char. I can't pass the stage by just looking at the remark 😢😢
