Don’t forget to use your pinap berries!



Caught a Gardevoir with silver pinap. Has to be the most candy I ever got from one catch.

    Thank you for posting this. I had forgotten about the double candy bonus. I just dropped a star piece, mega evolved a max level Sableye, and cleared out my massive backlog of ghost type mons waiting in my field research 🙂 can’t remember the last time I had no research mons waiting to be caught!

    The sort of situation where it really matters that **pinap is 2x candy and silver pinap is 2.33x candy.** Usually it just shows up as “double plus 1” but with evolved pokemon and double candy event it makes a bigger difference.

    I got a whole lot of Gastly candy during Halloween because of raiding costume Gengar over 10 times (really wanted that shiny but no luck :c).

    Every time I caught one I had my max level mega Gengar on, used a silver pinap and hit excellent throws for the bonus. If I remember correctly it gave me 55+ candy and some XLs everytime.

    Now I have around 1200 candies, but no shinies or hundos :c
