Witcher 3 optimal config to avoid hitching?

Hi guys. Does the Witcher 4.04 stutter for you guys in handheld? When I say stutter there seems to be these tiny 1 frame skips every 3-10 seconds, very minor and subtle but still distracting and they detract from the smoothness of things.

It happens even with almost minimum graphics settings. But they get quite bad and constant in swampy areas with lots of trees and also in towns to a lesser extent. Wondering if it’s down to a performance difference between version 3.7 and 4.04b? Any differences between performance of digital and cartridge? Just wondering what the ideal game version / storage type is to minimize this in your opinions. (hopefully it’s not a defect with my new switch)

Edit: Here is a video, it’s a bit harder to notice on youtube so it helps to zoom in on the video to see it, wondering if this is normal? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xovsjMVlvE seems to happen mostly when assets load while moving or turning the camera quickly

There’s not much you can do without modding the switch. You can overclock the chip and change the resolution to get 60fps.

This is a game where the physical copy may have an advantage because of SD card speeds (unless you’re playing on an OLED in which case make sure the game goes in the internal drive and not the SD card)

If you wanted customizable gaming, you shouldn’t have bought a Switch.
