    Welcome to the family

    ~~Phill Spencer~~ >!Jack Baker!<

  2. slickestwood

PS5 and Nintendo Switch players tell Phil Spencer to kindly get fucked

  3. junglespycamp

Well if he didn’t then the Xbox community in Japan would only be five white dudes teaching English in Japan for the year and a shiba wearing a green hat.

  4. Frozen-Minneapolite

He needs to just stop with the BS. We get it Phil, you want to be the “nice” guy that everyone likes while also being in charge of a competitive brand that is moving to exclude your games from players of those platforms but you don’t want that to be the headline.

  5. Thin_Welcome_2754

There is no one I hate more in gaming right now than this dunce. He is going to kill Physical games for Xbox

  6. You should not consider anything Phill Spencer to be the truth at this point.

  7. ThePikaNick

So we’re all a part of Xboxs family since the PS5 and Switch can play Activision/Blizzard games due to the merger. But we weren’t a part of the family when every console for the past decade has had Minecraft. Okay Phil sure.

  8. thenerdydudee

The 10 year olds are here in full force as expected

  9. KingBroly

‘We already bought them. They just don’t know it yet. Their dog, too.’

  10. turtyurt

Then let PS players play Bethesda games if you’re all one big happy family

  11. cmarkcity

And I consider all android users as part of the Apple community

  12. Linko_98

I dont understand all the hate he’s getting from this sub, he cooperates with Nintendo and usually brings the games on switch, it’s Sony that doesn’t want to cooperate with anyone

  13. retroanduwu24

    Haven’t bought Xbox anything since 360 🙂

  14. Double-Seaweed7760

He can prove it by continuing to port all the games from the studios he bought not just cod and no cloud or gamepass versions and no inside only like Ms has done in the pass give us the real stuff

  15. Im so happy to be a part of the xbox community! I love the fact that I’ll be able to play the new skyrim and all the other upcoming ABK games on my PS5 and Switch 🙂 Thanks Phil 🙏

  16. >As Part Of The Xbox Community

Translation: Please don’t block XBox out.

There is no Xbox community except for Xbox Live. Everything else is the “Gaming community”.

There are PS and Nintendo communities because exclusives still exist in their ecosystems. All Xbox games are also available on PC, so the only exclusive-ness is Xbox Live. All games on Game Pass can be bought separately and on different consoles and PC.

  17. Nudist-On-Strike

As a Switch and PS5 player, I don’t consider myself a part of the Xbox community.

  18. Phil Spencer used to be good at making himself look like the “everymans gamer” but as they have taken over more of the industry the facade has slipped. He’s definitely interested in hostile takeovers of anything he can get Microsoft’s hands on with their bottomless pockets. It’s a shame because I used to really like the guy.

You can definitely tell that he’s less interested in keeping up the nice guy routine from his intro at Blizzcon too. He definitely showed up as a power move to say this is mine now and piss on his territory, it felt more forced and awkward more than the normal forced awkwardness of the event.

I think this is a pretty easy talk as even Xbox and Spencer himself have recognized that Microsoft has lost the console wars. So if your consoles aren’t selling and your Game Pass subs are stagnant, you want your games to be on as many platforms as possible.

If their consoels were selling like crazy and people were buying games for them, they’d be far more likely to lock their studios’ content behind their own platforms.

  20. MaidKnightAmber

If that was the case you would release exclusives franchises you stole from other platforms like Bethesda games on other systems again. Go fuck yourself Spencer.

  21. DarkoDoomsayer

Except I still can’t play Starfield

  22. Redeemer117

This man is so desperate to completely market Xbox as this massive, all-inclusive place that everyone thrives in and is a part of.

Maybe it has to do with being outsold 9 to 1? Hmmm

Stop it, Phil. Want me to be a part of the Xbox community? Then release games that make me want to be a part of it.

  23. Turok_N64

Been an owner of every Nintendo and Xbox console so far, so any joining of forces is okay by me.

  24. voyageur04

Listen, I know there’s probably a lot of earned mistrust and uncertainty coming from a competitor (and directly, a man delusional enough to think he could acquire Nintendo), but it is clear that Microsoft has shown some support for Nintendo in the past. One of the first big cross-platform multiplayer games was Minecraft between Switch and Xbox. There’s been a smattering of Xbox Game Studio games that made it to Switch (Ori, Cuphead). And going forward, there’s the 10-year COD deal Nintendo signed. I’m cautiously optimistic to see where things will go with Microsoft’s support of the Switch 2.

  25. Nearby-Tumbleweed-88

Nobody here cares about this loser. Every time Phil says some stupid crap about how much he respects the Nintendo community, we don’t need to hear about it. He’s lying to look like he’s not actively trying to control the entire games industry.

  26. Rustyskeys

I’m not particularly interested in cable tv style gaming. Or all digital games. If the switch 2 forces you to have internet to download games even with physical media, then I’m done.

  27. TheMustardTiger00

Y’all really are special huh? Maybe he’s talking about the fact that since there’s Xbox games in the top 10 games on each platform, they are part of the “Xbox platform” of players.

  28. a_little_toaster

I don’t even consider xbox a part of the gaming world anymore, this dude needs to get his delusions in check
