I’ve had a kangaskhan in a gym in Budapest for almost three weeks now
A ghastly in a small town lasted exactly 100 days. He is favourited and will never be processed for candy in recognition of this achievement.
idk what happened back then but i think in 2020 I put a Gyarados in a gym in and it got bugged and even tho the arena was taken over daily it wouldnt come back…had to tell support 3 times about that issue before they finally fixed it after 2 months. I didn’t even got my 50 coins but at least I got my Gyarados back 😅

i was at my grandparents and they live in the middle of nowhere with a population that’s under 100 ppl, i don’t exactly remember how long but im pretty sure it was around 30-50 days

my meltan was stuck in gym for ~11 months. Back then that was my only meltan (from lets go research tasks, before i got my own switch).. My wife had it worse. she placed her strongest/best tyranitar.. I remember few weeks later, someone placed their salamance. Each pokemon were feed ~1500 berries each.
That gym is not remote, but id argue remote-ish.. This year I went there again and i was there for almost 2 months..
I had one for 131 days, random gym in a middle of a nature reserve on the middle of nowhere. Was very surprised when It was kicked out

I had a Donphan lasted almost a full year. It stayed 255days on a pokestop back when PokemonGo didnt released in Turkey.
my shiny pyroar and my freinds shiny garchomp were in a gym for about 80-100 days
As of right now I have 2 mons 118 days + and a few around 30 days. My record is over a year
Currently have one at 235 days and my buddy and I got the last two spots in a gym with the longest guy at 372 days.
I have two marathoners right now. One at 87 days, another at 33 days.
108 days, my Rypherior is stuck in Virginia at some random church lol
sent my shiny prinplup into a game a few hundred days ago 🫡

I recently went camping and saw a gym with mon in it over 100 days. I was just about to knock them out when my friends kid put his best dragonite in it. I explained to him to be careful with these remote gyms and leaving good pokemon behind. I left it overnight but knocked it out the next morning knowing it may be awhile before I see my litwik again. ETA: 16 days and counting
It’s also interesting to see how one gym just down the street from where I live can go 10 days without being taken out while the gym at the intersection 200 yards further down get changed every few hours.
29 days recently in a farmer area.
2 years in a deserted hard to reach area where there are no other pokestops
300+ days Ambosnow in the middle of no where 450km away from home
About 150 days in the OG days where you could claim coins without the pokemon being kicked out. Good times

I threw a Slaking in a panic to a gym in the middle of nowhere during a bus ride. It’s only been 12 days, but I reckon they’re never coming back.
About a month. I prefer someone knocks my Pokémon out daily so I get coins, btw.

I had a tyranitar in a gym for 91 days before, and had been keeping my girlfriend updated on the length in the gym the whole time (I put the tyranitar in the gym on may 28th and we got together may 31st)
Deep in the woods of a remote peninsula, on a hiking trail, I found a gym. Quickly took it over and my dude stayed there for a little over three years. Eventually someone else joined and we just remotely threw candy at our boys until they had a ridiculous amount.
Eventually, they got kicked out and it was a bummer.
Miltank, it’s been 131 days and now I kinda regret it. I didn’t have any Gyms around my house so I left my Pokemon in as many places as I could when I was travelling. I left this guy in a Gym which was on a highway. Big mistake.
Now with Niantic expanding in India and brand new 5-6 Gyms opening up super close to me, I regret leaving my pokemons out there. Sighs.
Visited a beautiful island during summer, it only has 13 residents, of which no one plays Pokemon Go (obviously…). I have made peace with seeing the Pokemon back in my inventory next summer… (Hopefully…)
And of course it is my lvl 50 100% Dragonite.
Giggles my shiny Gigalith was left on a remote hiking trail for 121 days before the snow melted and someone sent him home.
