I started back in my freshman year, when I had no personal email, and I was a dumb kid who just signed up under my school email. I saw a post a year or two ago of someone getting locked out of their account because it was under their school email, so I realized it would eventually happen. I’m in my senior year now, and I just tried to log in and got this. I’m surprised that it’s happening in the middle of my school year though. My account that I’m losing is a level 41 account with 400-500 shinies on it too (one of them being a shundo) 😭. Definitely my own fault, but still sad

Don’t worry, it could be worse. You could be me. I woke up this morning and realized that I’m still playing Pokémon GO. That’s the real dread.
Ooooof i feel that. My school deleted every alumni email address in June of this yr, no notice except for an announcement on the schools website. I had to request 10 day access to it so i could unlink it from everything. Ran out in the initial 10 days so i had to req another 10 and that second time they had completely emptied it out and i couldnt receive emails anymore, only send. So i sent an email to myself as proof of *previous* ownership in case its needed in the future. Lame asf

This happened to me too they asked like 15 ultra specific questions about my account but I didn’t remember things like the year and month i created my account and how much I have spent in the game. So I couldn’t get it back. 🙁
If you knew all along why didn’t you remove it and link your new email?? You also could have linked your facebook account or it’s not hard to make a completely new one 🤦
I work for a school district, this is a new change Google did, any email account under 18 gets access denied until they approve the app. You can email the it people for the district and ask to allow it or at least allow you to access temporarily and then change your email for pokemon go.

Someone else had a similar issue. Reach out to the school, see if you can talk to the IT department to reactivate your email long enough to log in and change the email on the account
Same exact thing happened to me :/ I’m honestly really bummed, I was almost going to unlock the master ball and I was stoked for Mega Garchomp now I basically have no choice but to wait for Niantic to get back to me but I know they won’t before tomorrow 😔

It is pretty easy to connect to your Niantic account. If you knew, you should have connected it with your social accounts.

I don’t understand school aged kids recently not having an email, I had multiple (I forgot the passwords) by the time I started school in 2006?
