    Had the same happen just that the ivs werent trash that was super random but its always welcome.

    Nothing better than rare catches in the comfort of your own home. I caught a Salamence from a couch a few weeks ago, and a Frigibax while lying in bed a few nights ago.

    sameeee. and the IVs are ALWAYS trash. i usually end up transferring to home to fill out that dex without sacrificing anyone useful lol.

    Did it have good IV by the way? Usually good Pokémon like that suck with IVs.

    Let’s be honest here a [Lv 33 6/7/5 IV Salamence](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/374633853119102978/1172609161725497455/Screenshot_20231110-134950.png) isn’t anything to scoff at.

    Unless you’re planning for PvP, it doesn’t matter too much, being over Lv 30, you’re [already looking at over 70% of the max possible power](https://i.imgur.io/3Mk8zfR_d.webp?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=medium) with 0 investment cost.

    You can ultimately raise it from 37.5 DPS to 42.3 DPS (43.7 DPS if it had 15 attack IV), but the difference is pretty negligible vs the stardust investment you’d take for it.

    Not to mention, you get a lot of candy for catching fully evolved Pokémon.

    Looking at the difference in 42.3 DPS vs 43.7 DPS, you can see the IVs aren’t really worth as much as we chalk them up to be. 9 attack IV is 1.4 DPS difference here.

    My house and my parents’ house are both pretty good spawns. Which is weird because there’s no XM at either (in Ingress), so I just have no idea what the formula is.

    One of these spawned today like 15 mins down the road at me and I had to pass. It’s dark out and 25⁰. Couldn’t justify walking in the cold to potentially be shafted
