Pizza Tower is the game I am dying to see released on Switch. I don’t play games on Steam so I really want to play this one
Hoping it’s more than just farm sims and wannabe faux deep story RPGs like Undertale.
The last 3 indie directs have been really disappointing.
Realistically, it’ll be a lot of lifestyle/cozy games I’m sure … but what I wouldn’t give for there to be a surprise Pizza Tower reveal.
I’m hoping to see Xseed’s new roguelike, Cuisineer. I’ve been watching a streamer play it on steam and it looks charming as heck.

I hope they reveal another indie collaboration like Cadence of Hyrule. My dream game is a Fire Emblem Roguelike (the gameplay genre, a la Mystery Dungeon) with rogue-lite elements, an explorable overworld like ToME, different characters representing the different classes, et cetera. Unfortunately I don’t think a game like that would ever be greenlit in the modern era unless it has an indie dev behind it to justify not appealing to “modern standards”.
Hopefully an entry from a Filipino game dev team. Our game development culture was ruined by these stupid NFT games and so almost all our local devs joined in the gold rush only to see this bubble burst in 2022 and the game economy crashed and burned along with the teams developing them. I barely even heard good locally developed games coming out of the recent ESGS. It usually presents lots of aspiring games made by passionate local teams.
