In reality:
You get all Lanturn leads and then your opponent swaps in their Medicham for your Vigoroth.
I was playing Talon-Cofagrigus-Serperior a few days ago, but switched to Talon-Charja-Lanturn.
Both teams have done really well for me, and Talonflame is a big part of it.
Meta right iw now is complete shit. Gligar flyng ground…steelix super bulky and has better dragon moves than mosr dragons, and they release more super bulky pokemon that can take charge moves like its nothing. I dont even play gbl anymore theres no point. Even research tasks are getting worse ( party play ). Either the testers are a joke or they conpletely lost touch with the game. I dont even know why i play anymore
Faced this line 5 out of 6 games in a row a couple of hours ago. 7th game had venusaur in place of serp.

on your "teams for great league" video you had this team, but with medi instead of vig. Ive been running it and its gotten me up to 2910. Talonflame has been a solid lead
People always sleep on talonflame in GL but its a beast
Was waiting for a team thats less than a million dust and 500 xl candies ๐ please do this for every league
After lots of positive and negative ratings I reached Veteran using this team by climbing 200-300 points but I have used Medichan instead of Vigoroth I think Vigoroth will do much better because in safe swaps I was destroyed by Ghost types or charmers
Tried this team, got hard countered instantly. Lanturn lead, medicham safe swap, noctowl in the back. ๐ญ๐ญ
Took a long break from this game for about three months. Didn't really battle last season and wasn't sure if I still had the chops! Was able to hit legend today in 760 battles. I saw this team(in this video) a lot the higher I climbed. When great league started I was in the 2500s and maybe did 3 or 4 sets since GL has been back. I went on a rampage with Lanturn lead with shadow Sabeleye and Froslass in the back. Pose is ok. I just may stick around and play this game for a little bit longer!

Fun fact, a high rank Talonflame can beat swampert in the 0 shields. Iโve had my rank 22 tank a hydro cannon before and just one shot swampert with brave bird

I literally tried out Talonflame a few days ago and I had ONLY negative leads, mostly Lanturns. Bad luck I guess.

Hey @jonkus – so I know you said talonflame might be better than charizard in the current meta or at least as a fire type lead on this team, but I love/use zard all the time so Iโm just wondering if you think zard could work on this team if I try it out or would you just recommend talonflame instead?
