If you restart, it should hopefully still be shiny when you tap on the balloon to finish the catch. I had this happen with a Natu before, it wasn’t shiny, but I got to catch it regardless of the restart.

I got a shiny shadow dratini last week and I’m working on getting him fully evolved. His stats are awful but I think shiny shadow dragonite is awesome

I hate that glitches like this exist. One time I ran into a ditto and my game froze and it fled immediately. I still haven’t gotten one for the challenge.
