It’s the best non (pseudo) legendary ground type attacker in the game. So I guess that’s pretty decent.
A+ is the 2nd best tier. Looks to be about the 6th or 7th best ground attacker just above regular mamoswine and rhyperior, but not as good as their shadow forms. It would be rated higher if the ground category wasn’t so stacked, so it depends if you have a good line up of Groudon, Mamoswine or Rhyperior already.
But who cares, it’s a hundo, you know the rules, max it to the moon!
one of the top ground attackers for sure. Primal Groudon is head and shoulders above the rest, but Shadow Excadrill is right there in the second tier, along with Mega Garchomp, Shadow Rhyperior, and Shadow Mamoswine (the latter 2 will be higher on most general tierlists, but they are both better suited to their other type — Rock for Rhyperior and Ice for Mamoswine). absolutely worth powering up if you have the stardust, although if you have a good Shadow Rhyperior or Mamoswine (or Rhyhorn/Swinub), it might be worth it to focus on those first and use TMs to switch them back and forth between Ground and their other type.
Pretty sure it’s the best or atleast was at one time the highest DPS ground and metal attacker in the game. Probably been supplanted by Megas

Hey I just caught this incredibly rare shadow shiny hundo, and it’s rated as the best pokemon in the game ever, but I’m not sure if it’s that good though.
