I want something new and interesting! There’s tons on sale, but much is stuff that’s been on sale over and over. What’s your favorite games on sale? Anything new to being on sale I should look at? Here are some of my suggestions:

**Great prices for great games:**
[Portal Companion Collection](https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/portal-companion-collection-switch/) $7 – The best 3D adventure puzzle game, and really great coop too.
[A short hike](https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/a-short-hike-switch/) $5 – Not very long, but enjoyable all the way through. Cheaper than a frap.
[Grindstone](https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/grindstone-switch/) $8 – Great puzzle game. It obviously came from mobile because touch is the best way to play. But it has tons of levels, and it’s so satisfying to find a longer chain!
[Dredge Digital Deluxe](https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/dredge-digital-deluxe-edition-switch/) $20 – includes the first DLC. A great gameplay loop. This and Dave the Diver means two of my favorite 2023 indies are ocean games.
**Big adventures for a cheap price:**
[Valkyria Chronicles 1 and 4 Bundle](https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/valkyria-chronicles-plus-valkyria-chronicles-4-bundle-switch/) $10 – Two awesome strategy rpgs with a unique battle system and a fictional WWII universe. Something different than all the medieval grid battles!
[Persona 3](https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/persona-3-portable-switch/)or [Persona 4](https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/persona-4-golden-switch/) $13 each or [bundled](https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/persona-3-portable-and-persona-4-golden-bundle-switch/) for $24 – Amazing games. Persona 5 is the best gameplay. But I think 3 has the best story and 4 has the best characters.
[Red Dead Redemption](https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/red-dead-redemption-switch/) \- $35 – Great game, and great port. Large scale action adventure at it’s best, and a better story than 2. Should you get it now when it will surely be cheaper later? It’s a huge complete game that gets everything right.
**Games for the right person:**
[Undermine](https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/undermine-switch/) $10 – It’s like a lot of roguelites, but a very satisfying loop that doesn’t leave me as frustrated. A rougelite that I actually finished!
[CrisTales](https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/cris-tales-switch/) $4 – If you were asking for the best JRPGs on the system, it wouldn’t get close to my top 10. But it has a unique look and battle system. A jrpg fan should look here for something new.
[Spiritfarer](https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/spiritfarer-switch/) $8 – A cozy game about death. It’s a great game, but not everyone wants the heavy subject matter.
**Games that aren’t as popular, but everyone should try:**
[Hand of Fate 2](https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/hand-of-fate-2-switch/) $8 – It’s just so different. I’m not always a fan of randomized dungeons, but there are so many genres mixed into things
[Card Shark](https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/card-shark-switch/) $10 – It’s a minigame game in a cheating simulator with a strong narrative. It’s not unknown, but have you played it?

I bought Cult of Lamb on impulse for like $16 and am having a great time. The art style is great and I’m enjoying to rougelike gameplay mixed with the sort of base building kind of stuff that is growing your cult.
I got RDR. I’m sure it will be 50% off given another year but $35 is reasonable to me.

I got bought rdr during the sale for my switch lite but its kinda hard to see because of the small screen. Its a great port though.
The Valkyria Chronicles deal is incredible. Those games are some of my all time favourites.
Gris and Unraveled 2 are pretty cheap!!!
Got Bioshock, Portal and some others cause I never played them before.
I’ll add Steins;Gate Elite, which is currently $12 and is often cited as one of the best visual novels on the Switch alongside The House in Fata Morgana, which is *also* on sale at $19 funnily enough.

Hotline Miami collection is $7
I went a little crazy on the sales this weekend.
Bought limbo and inside for very cheap. Havnt tried them yet but they look good.
Also got teenage mutant ninja turtles collection, red dead redemption, dragons dogma, little nightmares, cup head, overcooked 2.
Loving cuphead def worth the price. Disappointed with rdr, can’t get into it and it wasn’t that good of a sale price. Tmnt and overcooked are both great.
Portal was awesome. Dredge was fantastic as well. You will love them both.
I heard great things about dying light on switch…got it for 10$ maybe..with another game which is also great I heard

Borderlands 1/2/Pre-Sequel bundle is a whopping $10.
Children of Morta complete edition is < 7$ and Thronebreaker, the single player Gwent game is like 8 bucks rn as well

Bold claim that RDR has a better story than RDR2
My recommendation- Vampire Survivors DLC is on sale for TWENTY CENTS off BOTH. Incredible deal on a game that looks like a shitty ripoff of a SNES title but will consume your whole life
I picked up OlliOlli World, Darkest Dungeon, and Graveyard Keeper. I will probably grab Persona 5 and Ni no Kuni as well.
The last campfire is $2.49. Haven’t played it yet but very excited
Mario oddesey and dk were both listed for $30 at some of the target/Best Buy/Walmart retailers. As someone who was late to the switch party it’s nice to finally see some of these games with a heavy discount

I’m getting a Switch for Christmas and went online to take advantage of these sales… only to discover I can’t pay for a game until I’ve actually got the Switch. What’s wrong, Nintendo… don’t you want my money?
Worms WMD is on sale for $6 through tomorrow.
Any recommendations for me? I had fun playing these games:
-ToTK: I spent 95 hours so far, I still have half of the map to discover, So I’ll finish the game around the 200 hour mark.
-BoTW: One of my favorite games of all time, and it was my first Zelda game.
-Stardew Valley: I’ve been playing it since it released on PC, bought it again when I got my switch, probably played more than 250 hours so far.
-Forager: Finished it twice, but on PC the switch version has a lot of issues.
-Cult of the lamb: played it when it was on Game Trails, it got me stuck to my switch for days, didn’t buy though so I might get it.
-Graveyard Keeper: Had a lot of fun playing it, it got complicated but had a lot of fun playing it.
These are the games that comes to my mind right now.
ps. I have a game voucher that I haven’t used, I don’t know what game to use for, I was thinking of getting Pokemon game since I have never played a Pokemon game before (I don’t know anything Pokemon though).
