Pokemon Go

My boy successfully defended a gym for 1 year. Go on. Congratulate him. Don’t be shy.

Gym life can be lonely. Hope your boi has some company out there.

  2. Congrats. I hope that he will return to you someday

I have two gold gyms with 400+ days from a trip thru a small town.
They still rank higher than the gym I can reach at work.

Honestly kinda great being able to just feed berries all the time and get that extra bit of stardust

  4. Agreeable_Falcon1044

Impressive (the whole lot!) and you must be super rural. Wonder if the guy you took them off still plays…

  5. Revaristo20

That is crazy, I just had sudowoodo for a week at a gym in my town and thought that was an eternity lmao

Damn and I thought having a cottonee in a gym for 3 months was a long time, not bad.

When you finally get him back you’d have already hit your 50 coin limit for the day ☺️

  8. GIORNO-phone11-pro

If a mon lasts more than a day in a gym it should just give you the damn coins

  9. DittoMikko

He has done a great job and I am very proud of him.

He is no longer yungoos he is middleagedgoos now

Where the heck do you have so many uninterrupted gyms around you? I’m lucky if I make it to the full 8 hours around here…

    > 366 days. 113 days. 108 days. 108 days. 72 days. 72 days. 72 days. 72 days. 66 days…

*Behold* the pain of a rural player where it’s quite common to get defense-locked with 20 Pokemon stuck in gyms with no in-game source of coins for however long it takes for someone to come along and liberate them.

I’m currently dealing with this after a road trip that took me though Eastern Montana and – it turned out – a PoGo desert of abandoned gyms.

Wow that’s a long time!! Hope you haven’t already got 50 coins when he finally comes back

Where is this? Only asking in an approximate sense, I would never try to dethrone ya boi

  15. ShinyShadowDitto

    Congratulations, boy of philosophical-fool!

  16. Ok-Flan6721

The longest for me was about 10 to 12 weeks

  17. JeanBonJovi

It left as a Yungoos and will come back an Olduck

  18. whatheory

At that point you should get like 999 gold coins

  19. Fabulous_Mewtwo

Way to go. I wonder if you can defend it for 2 years

  20. Where do you live/play? I want to make sure I never visit

9 Pokémon in gyms for a minimum of 2 months apiece is crazy. And you got at least three more who have been in for god knows how long, but I’m willing to bet they’re on similar timescales

I recently came up on a gym that had 3 Pokemon in there for 80 days. I thought my guy would be in there for the long haul after I beat it so I put in something I didn’t care about. 6 minutes later one of the original people in the gym took it back again.

  22. bakedandnerdy

After seeing your snapshot I will never complain when it takes 3+ months for my pokemon to return 😬

  23. LegendarySuperSenior

You must live in the most backwoods corner of the world…

  24. YukonDeadpool

Living in the middle of nowhere I’m guessing.

  25. ABoutDeSouffle

NGL, it must be frustrating, but I wish I knew where to find gyms like that. I wouldn’t mind having a 1y gym defender as a trophy case.

  26. Has Yungoos already been in the game that long?

Somebody tell Father Time to ease off the accelerator already!

  27. Truestindeed

How bro? It must be in the middle of nowhere?

  28. just_some_dude05

Fool is gonna come back a fully powered 4 star after all that lifting right? Right?!!!

  29. maddseng

Congrats Yungoos, my piloswine finally got knocked out of a very remote gym after 4 months
