  1. Day one baby. Never played the trilogy so I’m going in blind. Hopefully it plays fantastic from all the raving critics I’ve been hearing about.

Trailer looks great!!! So excited for this. Would have loved to see more game play, but the graphics look great to me!! Need to free up space on my SD card now😭😭😭

I’m absolutely shocked at how good Knight looks. Given that my old PC (i5 2500 / GTX 750 / 8GB) couldn’t run it smoothly enough for me to really enjoy at the time, it’s really something that it’s working on something even weaker.

(Before anyone says anything about those specs, I’ve long since moved on from them.)

Arkham Knight was the only one I played, and a lot of people disliked it, but it remains one of my all-time favorites. Nothing like fighting some baddies on top of a building, diving off of it straight into the Batmobile, racing across town, then launching yourself out of it to bash another group all in one seamless sequence of actions with no loading screens or anything.

Hopefully, it’ll get a good sale after a couple of months. I played this all years ago and loved them, but I wouldn’t spend more than $20 on it. Really, I just want to replay the first game.

Anyone have any recommendations for best to start with? I’m gonna buy them as I go.

I’ll be waiting for reviews (mostly to see how Knight preforms), but ill probably get this at some point. I adore the first two games, and had a lot of fun with Knight.

  8. Riomegon

I’ve only played origins so this is a good enough reason to jump in, pending performance.

Anybody know the situation with the games in cart? Is it just a download or are they doing a code?

I would strongly suggest waiting for tech reviews before getting this. This is likely to have stuttering and FPS issues in Arkham City and especially in Arkham Knight. They’re also going to have to render the game in a very low resolution or remove a ton of effects and textures to make it run on the Switch.

If you have a PC, I strongly recommend getting the entire Arkam series there. You can often pick up the trilogy and Origins as a package for $10, and you’ll get a much better experience.

I just finished Arkham Knight on the Deck and to me it was a really great game. Combat was great, puzzles were great, story was good, and the batmobile was… not as bad as you might be led to believe. The handling is really good and actually pretty fun driving around Gotham, the puzzles with it were creative as well. Admittedly the tank battles can get tedious but NOT a deal breaker. Overall I give it an 8/10

Least we know there’s no more delays. Can’t wait to play these games

Anyone know when the reviews will drop? I’m ready to buy day one but still uncertain about Knight. I think from the store it looks like (like with MGS) you can buy the game separately and if that’s the case I’d just go for City if Knight runs poorly

Edit: Oh nice to see the Robert Pattison suit at the end for Knight!

  14. Played both the Spider-Mans. But this still is the number 1 comic book video game conversion for me. Wish arkham knight comes decently.

  15. heartlesslover

if it gets the same pricing as MGS I’m going blind in arkham knight, I played all the batman games but Knight, origins is my favorite, sadly it is somewhat forgotten

finally going to be able to play it now, the switch is the only way I can experience such great games so I’m really happy to see this future fvorite of mine

  16. Chutzvah

    Just had a random thought.

During the parts when you disarming bombs in Knight, you gotta accelerate the batmobile at a certain speed and keep it there until it detonates. Wonder if that will be an issue with the joy cons

  17. ArtyTheSmarty

I am assuming this will attempt to be 30fps locked? I can’t imagine that it would be able to hit a consistent 60fps, although it would be nice!

  18. Dragontech97

Looks great! Still going to wait on the DF analysis before I double dip

  19. bestjedi22

I really hope we can download / purchase the THE BATMAN suit on the other versions of the game too!

  20. hustleorstaybasic

Having played and owned all three, they each grow bigger in size and scope. I enjoyed Arkham Knight the most but can’t go wrong with either of em or all lol

  21. Practical-Courage812

Ill be very curious how these look and run on the Switch. I just finished playing Origins on my Steam Deck and portable batman is amazing. I know Origins and City were on Wii U so the regular games should play fine if City is mostly the Wii U version, but Arkham Knight is one that i think may have issues.

  22. dishonoredasian

For anybody that’s going into this for the first time, please play the games in order. The technical differences from each game makes the previous game feel clunky.

  23. Kratos_233

Ahhh, can’t wait to experience the PTSD inducing cloudburst tank battle once again.

  24. AJfriedRICE

I want to get this…hopefully the resolution and frame rate hold up…

Turn Me Up studios have done the borderlands collection and tony hawks on the switch so I’m pretty hopeful here. This is the most enjoyable trilogy I have played since Donkey Kong Country.
