The old graphics are still so charming, but I’m real excited. I had nearly 300 hours in the first game

  2. Crimson_Cape

I am loving the Animal Crossing influences.

  3. DetectiveRickDeckard

I thoroughly enjoyed playing *Fantasy Life* on my 3DS. And based on the trailers, I desire one day to play *Fantasy Life: The Girl Who Steals Time* on my Switch.

The quality of life updates are so nice! finally we can run without using up stamina! and we can also climb up small platforms now instead of having to try and find the path that goes around them.

  5. Bummer it’s been pushed to next summer, but still excited about getting it.

I feel like I’m the only one super intrigued by the end where new features include exploring the abyss and dungeon development.

Surprised it got pushed back so far. Disappointing since this is one of my most anticipated games but I’d rather have a polished finished product than a mess.

Finally, I was thinking about this the other day and wondered why we hadn’t heard anything.

I’m so looking forward to this game. I wonder if you’ll be able to change lives on the fly this time, it’d be a nice change I think.

i don’t think they needed to take so much inspo from ACNH considering they have such a solid foundation in the first game, but if that’s what it takes to revive the franchise, then okay i guess.

they said that adventures with your companions will remain a fond memory, so does that mean we won’t be able to party up with NPCs anymore?

The trailer looks so good! I was obsessed with Animal Crossing and Rune Factory 4, and this looks like such a charming mashup of the two, with a little bit of Cooking Mama type mini games thrown in. Really hope the game turns out well!

can’t wait for next summer to turn to next winter! yay!

    Day 1 purchase.

The OG Fantasy Life is my top 5 Games on 3DS.

  15. Bumbleonia

Man this game BLEW me away on the 3ds. I absolutely adore Fantasy Life. I cant wait!

  16. Really really curious about why they keep saying it’s summer 2024 for strategic releases even though the game is pretty much ready. Are they trying to align the release closer for Switch 2?

  17. So is it a remake of the 3DS game, or a new one?

  18. Hallways-of-Always

Super excited for this game! Very happy to get a release date, even if it is a while to wait. Man, now I want to replay the first game again..!

My SO and I played the original to 100% and have been wanting more for years now. Excited to play this someday

If it’s in English I’ll get it, I heard good things about this.

The amount of “animal crossing” like inspiration they have makes me concerned they are going to try and focus more on “make it like that hit thing” than focusing on what it used to be.

And please for the love of Divinius making combat more balanced than “grab a divine claymore or this ocean one if you want to have any hope at doing damage late game”

  22. Twinkiman

Glad they are taking their time.

I am in no rush for a game that I will easily sink 200+ hours into again.

  23. opeklinre

Looking forward to it! I hope it goes online as soon as possible.

  24. Isakksson

I fucking love Fantasy Life and have been hoping for a sequal since the first. But this one does not feel right with me. Too much Animal Crossing New Horizons Vibe, and the graphics looks really boring and bland :/

Wish it was in English. Still sad about Level 5 shutting down their localization projects
