Naintic lazzyness and greed has made pokemon more of a chore and somthing to do to waste time when you have absolutely nothing to do…………. ingress,Harry Potter go,the pickmen go, naitnics pokemon wanna be are all dunde and the monster hunter go game is okay not the best but the game makes you feel like you need to spend money in other words the monster hunter game is good but it forces your hand to buy stuff or it's a slog of a grind fest😅 and pokemon go is naintics swan dive they will never be about rank of more players or money from any feture game they make sooo with naintics greed,lazzyness and bad PR will probly lead to fans finally having enough of naintics bs and abanden pokemom go and what's sad is the pokemon company has the final day on what pokemon and events are added to the game and a large amount of the money goes to pokemon company 😂 so dispiye naintic greed and bs at the end of the day the pokemon company is enabling naintics bs and profiting off it so both naintic and the pokemon company are to blame for the bs in pokemon go

Just started video. The last 2-3 months I’ve hardly played. The events have been seriously boring. No interesting level 5 raid bosses. and the limit of 5 remote raids a day absolutely killed the game for me. I love raiding. 🤷🏽♀️
The real truth is Niantic sucks and ruined the game. Not a seasonal thing, just say it how it is!!! that is all

Goodluck buddy! I gave up on the game back in March, amidst the changing rules where they revoked some COVID changes and really crapped on the prices for things. I'll download it temporarily to play with my little brother but it's getting deleted the moment I go home.
The wife and I still play. We like the game (play less with a baby now), but I will admit the game lost its amazing potential.
In the beginning, it was a thrill to explore new places, not knowing what will spawn. Gyms were competitive and made us engage with our team mates more. The biggest flaw was the lack of trading and PvP battles. I remember many people organizing gyms and trading pages, only to find out none of those would come until years later.
The biggest thing that killed the excitement for me are the overabundance of events. They always showcased specific pokemon spawns and that's all you would see. Then niantic introduced seasons and XL candy which lessened spawn pools even more. The reason XLs were a problem because it changed the mechanics of catching. You needed so much more of the same pokemon to max that one out, so Niantic provided many chances to do that. All this combined killed the exploration of the game. Nests don't matter. Habitats don't matter. Rare spawns in general don't really exist (besides the bird trio). With a huge pool of pokemon, I kinda wished it was all random, so finding rare pokemon would be alot more special. I wish shiny pokemon was more special, instead of being featured in some event where finding one only required a little bit of effort.

I legit have been 'stuck' at level 48 for so long now I just can't bring myself to care anymore. I'm in Canada and it's cold already. I agree it is boring all around.

Been watching you since day 1 and burnout is a thing so its normal to stop having fun even if its temporary just change up things a bit the pokemon franchise is huge just start playing the main series or spinoff games like pokemon unite or pokemon sleep try beating the nintendo 64 stadium games this franchise haves a neverending list of games and this being a pokemon channel your viewers will like your content anyway. Feel free to take a break from Go then just come back when a bigger event in Go starts.
I want to preface this by… I think your videos are brilliant Nick. I stumbled across them whilst having to be a hermit during the pandemic and they were a massive boost to my mental health ❤❤❤ But… People have ups and downs with the game but it is often a thing people return to for wellbeing and good health in tough times. Your positivity is amazing and a huge boon. But too many negative spins on the game (when it's just in a lull, and that happens) might come at a bad time for people who need the game to support their wellbeing. Simply put, positive Nick is brilliant, but if you are feeling negative about the game, could you reign it in a little. There will be people who watch who need the positivity. Thanks for the amazing content, always ❤

Stopped playing since Niantic price gouging and feature reduction happened months ago. Nothing has happened to the game since that warrants return on investment on time or money since then. Such crap management and leadership at Niantic.

I just don't care for playing anymore. It's just the same thing over and over. Maybe for level 60 I'll open it up again.
There is no fun to be had, the game blows now. Forcing yourself to enjoy it will only make you hate it more. It's okay to move on from it Nick.

I don't understand how you can play the game and not complete the special research. And Trainer tips is not the only one that does this. It is so weird. Everything in my account is cleared because I like to accomplish objectives.

What about making another account. On that one you do challenges for yourself. nuzlocke of sorts. 1st mon caught is starter n next 5 makes it your lineup, shinies only, 0* or pvp relevant only, or even a poll n winner is the challenge for the week. or even till you level up essentially doing 50 ish challenges. The poll would involve your audience more.
Same here and I'm a rural player.. We moved to the countryside almost 2 years ago, though there is a pokéstop about 5 mins on foot, no gyms, good spawns at our house… and around, but we have to drive to our town, 6 km to play, 5 gyms and 10 pokéstops.. that's it.. It's not as fun playing rural.. no one here to raid with, no community.. But, oh well..
Isn’t there a vlogmas thing? Something like that? I’d love to see all your Pokemon stuff/collection. The DGAF Pokemon thing is real, especially after 7 years… Also the people I plaid with years ago want drama and I went through a spiritual awakening in 2018… So I do it only for events and with one friend.
