I know for a fact there are multiple mew. This is movie 1 mew, carefree and wild, and a powerhouse. Tree of beginning mew is More cautious, but playful, clever and has a sense of duty. Can you honestly say The mew we see here even slightly acts the same?

This is my most hated episode because they make mew so powerful. So many pokemon with 3 legendary and couldn't beat a single mew, its so frustrating to watch.

I like the open ending. It leaves room for the possibility that Goh will succeed in befriending Mew, but only when he himself has grown as a person.

Mew is the original Mythical Pokémon. It’s been with us since the franchise began and it’s supposedly the ancestor of all Pokémon.
