Before GBL when pvp was in early stages like custom silph cups in 2019, when I checked Pvpoke for the first time, it had skarmory on #1 in great league rankings, and I immediately invested all my resources in making one ready
So excited to see that it is back at no1
If you get brave bird and sky attack same time how do you decide which one to use?
If someday Skarmory have aerial ace, it probably become something like Medi or Lanturn i guess

I feel like so far it’s been the mudboy-poccalypse in great league. Grass types are afraid of the newly buffed skarm and talon. Steel wing means skarmory struggles to beat water types. Whiscash gets to run scald because Altaria is garbage since the sky attack nerf.

It's good to see Skarmory back. I honestly really hoped it would get a +2 energy buff. Had already planned my starting team with Skarm and it's worked a treat (42 wins from 50 so far). If they'd nerfed spark's damage as well that would have been ideal, just so Lanturn isn't as OP…
I did a variation of this team with vigoroth as safe swap with rock slide and whiscash with scald as the mud boi, honestly works really well against the new meta

I feel like Skarmory does not deserve rank one. It is very weak to the lanturn-talonflame core. Pokemon like registeel or stunfisk fully wall skarmory

I was trying to build a somewhat decent skarmory with return. I had the shadow without the move frustration for a long time but the unfortunate part was that it was too expensive and i didnt have enough candies. Luckily i purified it and was maxed out for the great league.
