Beyond the Hype. I created this series as there is a lot of click bait and false impressions of pokemon and I want to give you a real in depth analysis of whether a pokemon is worth spending dust and candies on.
The new season of Timeless Travel has been announced with buffs to pokemon like talonflame, toxicroak, and azumarill and nerfs to steelix breaking swipe and medicham. Here is a full analysis of the new buffs, nerfs, and pokemon with new moves.
Azumarill got a bubble buff which moves it back into a top ranking. Much like previous seasons, it’s duo typing, bulk, and moveset make this a strong pokemon to use in the great league.

I have been told I forgot to change the movesets on the other azumarill for an accurate comparison. My point is still correct but obviously the comparison is wrong.
the IV part is wrong. 0/15/15 Azu vs. 10/15/15 Azu with IB + PR. The 10att Azu has new loses over carbing, dewgong, jelli, mantine, pelipper, shado quag, shadow aslash and skarm but new wins over rank1 azu, dd, trev and froslass
In your comparison, you're running different attacks. One is with Hydro Pump and the other Ice Beam. Not saying IV's doesn't matter but the differences is probably not that noticeable. At least, testing my own I actually pick up more wins with worse stats (14/12/11) than the 0/15/15.

as for azu he suffers from the same thing that many mons in this game goes through… BULK POWER! something that one can only see in in Ultra or Masters! having that in great league is crazy good! Any XL mon in Great League is a Best! LOL

In all of these games hydro never seemed better than ice beam.
I’m thinking of running this team but my problem is my dragonair.. my shadow is only ranked 1765 and my non shadow is ranked 92. Which one do you recommend running? @dan

When you discuss specific pokemon and their teams, especially in a new season meta, would love even just a little blurb about the different pokemon you can slot in! Some of us newer players don't have all of the options, let alone good pvp IV's/candy to level them up. You spend a lot of quality time talking Azumarill and the move options and IV's and the different matchups but for example; what if we don't have a Registeel? What other team comps and some of their alternate teammates is super helpful to learn with whatever featured pokemon you're discussing. Love the content and the series, appreciate all the info!
