Switch 2 is probably not ready yet that’s why they’re canceling the event. Pretty sure that’s when they were going to announce Switch 2.

Was this the first Nintendo Live in Japan? I remember they did it in Seattle last year next to PAX, and there weren’t any death threats. There were just super long lines, especially for the merch store.

After the Kyoto Animation attack it’s hardly surprising to see Japanese companies taking any sort of threats a lot more seriously.
