Beyond the Hype. I created this series as there is a lot of click bait and false impressions of pokemon and I want to give you a real in depth analysis of whether a pokemon is worth spending dust and candies on.
The new season of Timeless Travel has been announced with buffs to pokemon like talonflame, toxicroak, and azumarill and nerfs to steelix breaking swipe and medicham. Here is a full analysis of the new buffs, nerfs, and pokemon with new moves.
This week is ultra league and retro cup. Retro cup is a 1500CP (Great League) with steel, dark, and fairy banned. These banned typings lead to an increase in flyers, ghost, and dragons in the meta.
This video will go over my undefeated retro cup team featuring dubwool, froslass, and jellicent.

If you go to rankings on pvpoke, go down to moves and click show stats, it shows you the dpe and overall damage for attacks and it has stab and shadow bonuses built in. Idk if building those into the numbers is new or I just never noticed it but it’s definitely there now
The Retro Cup has been soooo RPS for me since GL rotation today. Lead with Dragonair – face a Froslass, lead with Gligar – face a Lanturn, lead with Trevenant – face a fucking Noctowl 🙄

Can someone recommend me a good team I am pretty new to pvp I have blaziken,charizard,virizion,Cobalion,cresselia,Greninja,togekiss,steelix, Sceptile,excadrill,Articuno,swampert,skeledirge,starraptor,shadow dragonite which I feel are good for pvp I would really appreciate it ( would be great if it has cresselia in it because I invested a lot in that Pokémon) thank you

How do you get so insanely lucky with the teams you’re paired against? I swear the teams I face are always perfectly equipped to beat whichever team I put out that particular battle. It doesn’t matter what team I run with because the game sets me up to lose. Can someone finally explain this to me? I’ve won over 3,000 battles but there’s still something major I’m not getting. I build teams based on these recommendations but all I ever do is lose when using them.
I think I actually beat somebody running this team with my own double dragons- altaria lead, Kingdra and lanturn
Just dropping in to say I’m a longtime fan, and I actually matched up against you for the first time yesterday. It felt like meeting a celebrity for me. (I was the weirdo running Lanturn/Dragonair/Gyrados spice ✨ in retro). Doesn't matter how much stardust I invest on 100% pvp iv's, top meta.
It's going to put me against counters that have no business being played.
Tell me why it is : i can spend 800,000 stardust and then immediately be met with a medicham that wipes the entire team by itself?
I already spent the 700k powering up a medi, to have it sit on the bench,
or get counterpicked when i use it.
Only played two games in retro so far but shout out to "Sepiursa" who thought they had me hard countered only for my Duskull to poltergeist one shot their Jellicent hahaha loser

Vig, jelly and gengar as closer was fun for me. Jelly always baited the normal types which vig then dealt with and gengar closed with no non-effective damage.

Ok. Tried this team. It's disgustingly good. Dropped a msg in discord gostadium (maybe get you more views 😉) but mate, I tried this team went great, 4-1. Decided to try triple Axl instead on fross. It's nasty, save shields for her and a ramped up frosslass is a monster. Shadowball a full lanturn kinda monster
