Lmao at putting Hogwarts Legacy in the “runner ups” as if it wasn’t a decidedly mediocre game that was forgotten near immediately.

Very well deserved. I know others do not like this new Zelda game format, but I for one hope they keep it and add to it.

TOTK was incredible. Coming from someone that was underwhelmed by BOTW.

One of my favorite games of all time. Really looking forward to seeing how the team evolves open-air Zelda on new hardware.

I’m not necessarily saying this is the best open world game, but I consider this the best actual open world that I’ve played. In this new Zelda format literally everything in the game is in service of the exploration, for better or worse.
This game like no other distracted me from my initial plans again and again. I couldn’t go longer than a minute without seeing something that caught my attention and it often left me an hour later wondering what I was even doing in the first place.
It’s not a perfect game but it’s the BOTW philosophy perfected and so I’m glad they did it. However, I do want more classic Zelda elements back with a tighter experience next time.
