I don’t think the OG HD Trilogy was a “glow up”. It was a very low budget tracing where they added thick black outlines and new shadows were applied that gave it a very western comic-book style that I wasn’t a fan of. I honestly thought the DS versions still looked better.
I hope we get Investigations 1 and 2 because they were remastered on this style too for mobile (AAI2 is the peak of series’ 2D Sprite work).
Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice will benefit from not looking jaggy (Due to not being on the 3DS screen). But both will still have that problem of having very stiff animations due to trying to emulate the 2D style instead of embracing 3D animation like The Great Ace Attorney did.

I am so torn on getting this game. I got suckered into buying a LOT of stuff on the Wii U and 3DS eshops because they were closing. So of course I bought Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice and their DLC before the shop closed. Then they announced this Trilogy. Lol
I already own all 3 Phoenix Wright games on the DS and the first/only Apollo Justice game we got physically here, and I have Great Ace Attorney for Switch since that’s when we got it the first time in the US. But part of me wants all 3 trilogies on the Switch… blah Do they have any upgrades/reasons to double dip and own them all on the Switch besides just having them all in 1 place?

How does the Apollo Justice trio stack up to Ace Attorney?

Can you speed up the text on the Apollo justice games?
I remember buying one on the 3ds and the game was so slow because it didn’t have the the same skip function the first trilogy had.

I found AA4 and 5 to be good, but AA6 was really something special compare to those 2 for me.

Apollo Justice on mobile and this collection though…. that’s exactly how I feel the OG trilogy should look in HD. [Just look at this comparison of Phoenix between both styles.](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.redd.it%2Fwc6xq2409v141.png%3Fauto%3Dwebp%26s%3Df45d58beb7558c3f7f6122fcd60943e57054746a)
