I understand that the climate of the northern hemisphere seasons is used, since most Pokémon Go players are in that area. It is normal to see ice-type Pokémon associated with snow around this time, but it has been like this for 7 years now, and for us, those of us who live in the southern hemisphere, to be catching ice Pokémon and seeing everyone so warm with scarves at 95° F is a bit quirky. Maybe they could do an inverted hemisphere year sometime. Greetings Nick!
