The one thing I like about this game is the absolute glow up some of these Pokémon got, they look so stellar (also the actual realistic textures put on the models)

Am I weird to not really like venusaurs new model? Something about it just doesn’t look right to me. But blastoise looks incredible in its new model, as well as feraligatr which I thought was bad at first but it grew on me, the gen 3 and 5 starters, primarina, Incineroar which has always looked badass, and some older models like cinderace and charizard
I actually prefer the old Venusar and Blastoise, the new ones look straight out of the Detective Pikachu film. They look too realistic. I always preferred the cartoonish old designs.

Even better is they fixed Blastoise using Hydro Pump and gave it a sick swimming animation that reminds me of New Snap

The only thing that I can see that new blastoise that they gave it fat rolls like a new born baby.

Entei looks a little too scraggly for my tastes but the rest of them look fine.
Scarmary still constantly flys but while in battle but it does at least flap itself winds to do so.
The trainer that owns venusaur also looks pretty good
