Grammarian is an interesting game, except it has some grammatical mistakes and typos in its dialogue… Which, defeats the game’s purpose.

Great list! Glad to see Paranormasight get a mention, I was expecting a quick low-budget kind of VN and it really exceeded any expectations I had. Very solid title that didn’t get enough attention. I’ll check out a few others from your list that caught my eye

Was curious about despots game so thank you for the tidbit on it, I think I’ll pick it up for my pc rather then my switch but still great list!

I just want to take a moment and thank people like OP who put up articles or recommendations for some of the indie games on the Switch. I’ve listened to some of the advice on here and have been playing some wonderful games (Cassette Beasts, Alien: Isolation, and Dicey Dungeons to name a few).

What can someone tell me about Chaos Galaxy. I loved FTL and Into the Breach and the description makes it seem like a mix of those two?

Makes me sad for the developers of these games because I am SUPER into games. I beat 53 games in 2023. I listen to gaming podcasts, watch gaming content on YouTube, follow gaming reddits… and I’ve not heard of most of these games. It’s a tough business, and discouraging for someone like me with an indie game idea. There’s almost no chance I can make something successful and compete in such a crowded market.

Very happy to see Trails included. I’ve been a huge fan of the series for a long time, although it is a bit of a bummer that the earlier games aren’t available on switch. Trails from Zero/to Azure are their own little duology, but things will make a lot more sense if you’re able to play the Trails in the Sky trilogy and follow up after Zero/Azure with the Trails from Cold Steel games on PC!
