Dragon Quest itself is very popular in Japan. I would imagine a one off game with what I’m assuming is Pokemon would do just as great. This is just par for the course.

Anyone still playing this who loves it? I tend to only buy physical but ~£45 still feels steep.

It’s crazy that this was the fourth most downloaded game on switch last year in Japan and it released in the first week of December.

  4. If the online auto-battle in this game is any indicator, about 80-90% of the people I fight have Japanese names.

  5. I’ve only ever heard of this series but never paid attention to it. I just happened to click the link and it seems similar to Pokémon in some way, is that accurate? Is it good for someone who strictly plays offline/ solo? If so, I think I might be interested.
