BAD NEWS ABOUT THE CATCH TRICK… Does NOT Work on Galar Birds

Today, there has been more info gathered regarding the new catching trick in PoGo. The catching trick does work in raids, wild spawns, grunts, and tasks but… only if the Pokemon is NOT a Legendary. There is video proof of the trick not working on galar birds, see below. Leave a like if you enjoyed! #pokemongo #gaming

  1. I figured since it doesn't work on legendaries from raids. It wouldn't make sense for it to work for a legendary in the wild

  2. I've been getting critical catches with all types of throws for years…nice, great, excellent, even crappy throws… Idk why all the big fuss now.

  3. Honestly I understand why the trick doesn’t work on legendary’s kind of sucks the rarity of legendaries out, but it should be boosted for Galar Birds.

  4. I’ve gotten critical catches on legendary raids before, it’s rare, but it works on raid bosses or used to…

  5. The entire catch mechanic was ruined when go plus+ was released. They drastically decreased the catch rate because they thought people would be using ultra balls and great balls using the device and getting every single Pokémon they encounter. Instead, it made the game almost unplayable. Garbage low CP Pokémon breaking out of three and four great curveball throws with great balls is so unbelievably stupid. I hit six nice or great curve ultra balls on a swinub and it still ran away. And when you use normal Poké balls with the GoPlus+, most things run away. I've been playing since day one and am lv50 but this change has been the absolute worst change to the game and I barely play anymore

  6. The trick was definitely not a feature since day one of the critical catch system, because I had a few perfect throws throughout the years, even one or perhaps a few in early 2023 as well, and they didn't result in crits. From what I had read, "perfect throws" in the past resulted in a catch rate modifier of 2x and this might still be applying for legendaries right now. However, I'm personally not 100% sure of the validity of this since throwing at the smallest possible circle can easily be screwed up. In the last few days, I definitely had a few moments where I was like "omg I'm so sure I got the perfect throw on this", only to see the ball shake twice. However, the regigigas part does seem to carry a message, with regigigas having a huge hit circle…

  7. No it doesn't work but there is a trick that does work throw up to 15 to 20 regular pokeballs two Ultra Balls three Ultra Balls all to the side with purposely missing the Pokemon did making sure you use a blue Pokemon ball with a golden raspberry and make sure you get a excellent catch has to be excellent head and it works almost every time I have multiple galarian Birds

  8. The circle must be at its smallest point for a critical catch. Was this the case or was the circle larger?

  9. I use the catch trick on galarian birds i throw 12 ultra ball on the floor after that I feed the pokémon with golden razz berry and I throw 12 more ultra ball on the floor and last ball must hit excelent or r Great curv trow i catch 3 galarian moltres and 2 galarian articuno on that trick

  10. Call me crazy but I think this is a good thing. If it doesn't work on legendaries, it's very unlikely Niantic is going to bother patching it out. This also preserves the rarity and tough catch factor of legendary Pokemon. Regardless, the critical capture small circle feature still a benefit to have even if it is situational.
