    So let me run some numbers…

    Let’s say THEORETICALLY the cards are valued at what was said. Of course card prices bounce based on supply and demand.

    The box was “valued” at $15,000.

    They opened it, thus hoping whatever was in the box was of higher value.

    They SHOWED about $1,207.84 worth of items (at the time)

    They lost $13,792.16 based on what they showed. That my friends is called a “gambling addiction”. Don’t get me wrong some people can get some money from Pokémon cards. They can get expensive, and if you know where to look you can buy low and sell high.
