    According to VGC:

    > A year after being branded a flop, Ubisoft’s Mario + Rabbids sequel, Sparks of Hope, has racked up nearly three million sales, VGC understands.

so the game that nobody bought at launch because they knew it would go on sale is now selling well after it’s been on sale? weird.

I didnt know what to expect going into the demo I found the gameplay to be very strange imo. It weirdly reminded me of playing Hitman. 😂

Not surprised it flopped tbh, I feel like I got burned for buying the original at full price only for it to drop down to like $10 with the DLC included. I’m sure many other people were waiting for this game to drop to a similar price, and honestly I kinda forgot about it in the sea of great 2023 releases.

I’m glad to see people are giving the game a shot. It was one of my favorite games in 2022.

I’m gonna get it eventually. The first one was great.

When it hits 15 or so I’ll snag it

While the Evergreen policy of Nintendo is grating, the policy of Ubisoft or Sega that charge an outrageous amount at launch and then let retailers do up to 50% discounts within a month can feel just as bad. Especially for loyal fans who bought at launch.

Like I feel really burned after buying Sonic Origins digital launch which not only seems to be constantly on physical sale but received the Game Gear games which I would have to pay for.

I did not care for the sequel compared to the first game. Lots of changes that made it too different from the first game. The voice acting is the worst for me.
