After almost four years… I updated my Pokémon Transfer visualization and incorporated the feedback that I have received from everyone!
· Updated the layout
· I have added the new Pokémon games
· I have added the the non-transfer capabilities for Pokémon Stadium Pokémon Stadium 2 and Pokémon Battle Revolution
Bear in mind that this graphic entails the transfer process for the PAL region of Pokémon games.
Hope you will enjoy this! Let’s all hope Pokémon Bank stays online for a long, long time. Hoping to complete that Ribbon challenge someday!
Did this with my Ruby team back when it became possible. So satisfying to see my Blaziken starter from Ruby on the big screen.

Not to discredit your hard work on putting together this flow chart but I’m betting less than 0.001% of players attempt to go through the trouble of moving Pokemon from older games to newer ones using the official means of transference.

If you didn’t already know all of this then you probably didn’t download Bank or Transporter before the eShop went offline.

Can you explain the compatible with and not compatible with part. It’s confusing me. Like with the let’s go games: which part is and which part isn’t compatible

thank you for including the Relocator! it’s my favourite weird bit of intergenerational Pokémon trivia.

TIL Pokémon Gen 1 and Gen 2 were available on a DS, and it appears I missed it.

Looks vaguely like the Kanto world map

Can you still trade from 3DS Virtual Console Titles into Pokemon Bank?
2-3 years ago I used that to move my collection from Red/Blue and Gold/Silver into my Sun/Moon

For what it’s worth, while I’m not sure why this distinction exists in the first place, Pokémon Yellow is officially considered a Game Boy game which has improvements available for the Game Boy Color, while Pokémon Gold and Silver are considered Game Boy Color games which are playable on an original Game Boy.

Is it safe to assume with the release of Gen 5 remakes next year, all pokemon will now be obtainable via switch games and the need to transfer up will no longer be required?
If i recall we are only missing a small handful of pokemon, mostly all gen 5 anyway.

What am I looking at?

This is only a half serious question, but would there in theory be a way to transfer my level 100 Pikachu from Pokemon Yellow (original cartridge) all the way up to Go or Arceus? It looks from the graphic like the R/B/Y and G/S/C aren’t connected to anything else so I’m guessing not.
I’ve never really looked at Pokemon Home seriously as I am a pretty casual player and moving them between games isn’t that important to me, though I do have some nice shiny ones on Go…

What is Pokemon Lab?

I still have my shiny Sableye from my original Sapphire cartridge from 20 years ago. It’s sad that Megas were removed, and therefore Sableye’s hope of being a halfway decent Pokemon, but having it around for two decades gives me a sharp sense of nostalgia every time I look at it.
