How I was able to evolve Primeape to Annihilape from my house.
In order to evolve Primeape into Annihilape, you have to defeat 30 Psychic or Ghost type Pokemon in a battle while Primeape is your buddy.
My area is currently under some severe weather so we can’t travel to gyms right now, so I got creative and used the training function of GBL. Here are the steps I took.
1)Saved Master League battle party as Jolteon with Discharge and Groudon with Earthquake. The third Pokemon didn’t matter for me.
2)Scrolled down in battle menu to training and selected Blanche and then Master League.
3)Defeated Suicune with Jolteon
4) Defeated METAGROSS (a psychic type) with Groudon. This counts as a psychic type defeated in battle.
5) As soon as Articuno loaded, I surrendered the match to save time.
6) repeated steps 2-5 29 more times and met the evolution requirements.
I know it’s a little odd, but this was my only option. Maybe this will help others in need.
