I think it would of been better if Kieran simply responded to us trying to trade Ogrepon. In some of the dialogue he mentions that he understands why Ogrepon went with us and says it will probably be happiest with us. He could of just said something along the lines of "Ogrepon? But its better if it stayed with you" something like that instead of the lazy "you can trade such a rare pokemon to kieran". At least it would give a good reason.
