Hear me out. The next remakes will be Unova, Gen 10, then probably Gen 2, after that a new Legends Game, Gen 10 DLC and then finally Gen 6 remakes.
Primal dialga from the mystery dungeon games is called dark dialga in japanese, which is the suffix used for shadow pokemon in the original text
The reason we localised them as shadow pokemon is because of how we already localized the dark type
AZ and his Floette better be in whatever Gen 6 remakes come out in the future.
Maybe we might get a Legends type remake instead.

I swear if they made Pokemon Z and fleshed out AZ, his Floette, and gave us a better villain team whose story integrated the legendaries including Zygarde better, Kalos would be so much cooler. So much missed potential there.

From a lore standpoint, I think it makes sense that the only Eternal Flower Floette is AZ's and not the player's. The only way I can see the player accepting that Pokemon is if AZ dies or gives it up for some reason.
If another Kalos game allowed us to catch or receive an EF Floette, I'd need a really good explanation for why AZ doesn't want it. Maybe… Maybe Floette would meet the player early in the story, and be a usable Pokemon for you, but ultimately the story ends with a choice to give the Floette to AZ? Maybe if you do it, it'll become possible for AZ's Floette to teach your Floettes Light of Ruin, potentially changing your Floette into the Eternal Flower Form, sort of like a Resolute Keldeo with Secret Sword situation, or Pirouette Form Meloetta, even. Maybe don't give the Floette the better stats, but just the appearance and the signature move would be cool enough… Besides then you could evolve it and have a Florges with Light of Ruin.

It's like Ogerpon and Kieran. It just makes more sense for Ogerpon to become Kieran's companion instead of the player's, and the injustice of that is why I didn't like the DLC's story all that much. I literally threw the pen-ultimate Kitakami fight to decide who gets Ogerpon because I hoped Kieran would get him but nope. Black out, try again, no change.

I’ve said it since I learned there was a scrapped plan: Gen 6 is the one in most desperate need of a remake or sequel. So many things it missed, but I loved those games and want more from them. I hope we get something eventually
